Social Impact Awards 2023: Recognising Inspiration, Innovation, and Impact

SPJIMR’s DoCC organises the Social Impact Awards (SIA) to recognise social enterprises and organisations for their exceptional contributions to society across six award categories: Agriculture and Livelihood, Women Empowerment, Sustainability, Health, Nutrition, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), and Education & Skill Development. Since its launch in 2006, SIA has grown to include experts from various sectors who evaluate participants’ impact. The 2023 edition of SIA held on December 7, 2023 commenced with a welcome note delivered by Chandrika Parmar. Keynote speaker Rajendra Singh, popular as the “Waterman of India” shared the challenges he faced while helping a community in the Alwar district, transforming it from a region with insufficient water to one with abundant water resources. His keynote address inspired and motivated everyone in the audience to persevere in their chosen paths.
