The SPJIMR HR Department, in collaboration with Bhavan’s Nature and Adventure Centre (BNAC), organised an enriching summer camp aimed at fostering employee engagement. This initiative, which began in May 2023, was specially curated for the children of employees, their immediate relatives, and friends.

The summer camp took place at Bhavan’s Mumbai campus, conducted by professional trainers from BNAC from May 6 to 10. It provided an exciting array of gadget-free activities for the kids during their summer vacations, including environmental projects, nature trails, survival skills, yoga sessions, art and craft sessions, personality development training, and fun adventurous activities such as rock climbing, rappelling, and treasure hunts, among many others.

The initiative boasts several benefits, including enhanced employee engagement and fostering a sense of community within the organisation. Testimonials from parents and children highlighted the camp’s success. Parents praised the camp for its well-organised activities that offered holistic development and fun learning experiences for their children. Children expressed excitement over the adventurous experiences, making new friends, and the overall fun they had. These positive responses underscore the camp’s effectiveness in achieving its goals and its potential as a cherished annual event.
