DoCC-M3M Social Impact Grant 2024-25

May 14, 2024

SPJIMR DoCC in collaboration with the M3M Foundation, proudly announced the recipients of the inaugural DoCC-M3M Social Impact Grant 2024-25. The event started with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed by welcome addresses from Prof. Chandrika Parmar, Director DoCC and Ms. Aishwarya Mahajan, President M3M Foundation.

Welcoming the participants Prof. Chandrika Parmar noted, “In our globally connected era, it’s clear that no single individual, corporation, or government can tackle complex social challenges alone. This partnership is anchored in the belief in the power of collaborative creation, or co-creating impact, it involves pooling our diverse strengths and resources to address societal challenges more effectively. This collaboration between M3M Foundation, DoCC and civil society organisations is a powerful testament to such collaboration, built on trust, generosity, belief in one another, and shared values. Let us move forward with the conviction that our collaborative efforts are not only about crafting solutions but also about forging a community with a vision of shared future. We commit today not only as contributors, but as true collaborators and partners, paving the way for better management practices and a better world.”

Ms. Aishwarya Mahajan, Managing Trustee and President of M3M Foundation, echoed this sentiment, stating, “This collaboration embodies our shared commitment to driving positive societal and environmental change. Together, we embark on this journey with optimism, determination, and a shared vision for a better tomorrow.”

The DoCC- M3M Social Impact Grant is instituted by the M3M Foundation in memory of the late Shree Lal Chandji Bansal (1937-2022), founder of M3M Foundation, marks a significant milestone in driving positive change in society. The process of grant allocation underwent meticulous scrutiny. It involved shortlisting 40 projects from the 300 DoCC projects undertaken by SPJIMR PGDM, PGDM (BM) and PGPM participants as part of their social internship in these organisations. These projects then underwent detailed presentations to an evaluation panel, followed by rigorous due diligence.

A total of Rs 2.5 crores was allocated to empower initiatives driving societal change. The MoU was signed between the DoCC, M3M and 13 partner organisations spanning a diverse array of domains, including climate action, gender equality, agriculture, biodiversity, poverty alleviation, food security, disability, and education.
