Unstereotype2020 speakers inspire SPIMR through their life stories which broke down societal stereotypes, promoted inclusion, and made a difference!

SPJIMR's PGMPW programme's hosted the Unstereotype 2020 event which saw 7 inspiring individuals share their life stories which shattered stereotypes through their sheer determination and will power. The event served to highlight and promote the importance of gender equality and diversity at the workplace and the importance of standing up for your rights and justice to make a difference in society. The powerful stories left a deep mark on the audience and the event was a resounding success.

Ehsaas- The NGO Mela: Students, faculty and staff turned up in large numbers to shop for a cause

Ehsaas – The NGO Mela, took place on campus on 24th February. The DoCC and Sustainability Committee had invited 43 self-help groups to set up stalls featuring items like jams and pickles, chocolates, ayurvedic products, handicrafted jewelry, ajarakh and bandhini sarees, kurtis, home linen and much more. The mela was further enlivened with a live counter where patrons could try their hands at pottery and get mehendi applied.

Dean, Dr. Ranjan Banerjee bags the “Change Maestro and Institution Builder of the Year Award” by ICA

SPJIMR Dean, Dr. Ranjan Banerjee, was awarded the “Change Maestro and Institution Builder of the Year" at the Industry Academia Conference 2020 (ICA) by a jury of eminent academics and corporate leaders convened by Padmashri Dr Pritam Singh and P Dwarkanath, Director, Human Capital, Max Group India and Director, GSK.

SPJIMR’s 4th Dr. M.L.Srikanth Memorial Lecture

The 4th M.L. Srikanth memorial lecture took place on January 23rd in front of a packed audience of students and faculty at the new auditorium, now fittingly named as the M.L. Srikanth auditorium in an opening ceremony just prior to the commencement of the event. The lecture was given by Arun Maira, former member of Planning Commission of India & former chairman of Boston Consulting Group who quoted Gandhi, Lewis Carroll, Lincoln & Greta Thurnberg to present compelling and thought-provoking narrative on the failing standards of global corporate governance and asked management students to decide what kind of life they want to pursue - "one of learning or earning?"

SPJIMR’s Post Graduate Programme in Development Management (PGPDM) receives AMBA accreditation

The UK-based Association of MBAs, or AMBA, has accredited the Post Graduate Programme in Development Management (PGPDM) offered by the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR). The formal accreditation announcement came in earlier this month, adding a new achievement to the PGPDM, a programme that has in the short span of a decade grown to be accepted, recognised and become an important part of the learning journey of many in the development sector.
