Constructing personal leadership roadmap

Personal Growth Lab (PG Lab) is an integral part of the organisational behaviour course at SPJIMR. It is scheduled at the beginning of the participants’ MBA journey as a 4-day experiential learning intervention. It is planned and executed in a serene location away from the hustle and bustle of the city and campus life. PG Lab fosters self-awareness, appreciates individual differences and cultivates team-building skills among participants. It combines in-class human relations laboratory exercises, scientific assessments, conceptual inputs, reflections, practical management lessons, outbound activities and an array of pedagogical tools to teach key principles of organisational behaviour. It creates a safe space for participants to share and reflect openly on their personal traits. The PG Lab enables participants to understand themselves and others better and develops interaction and collaboration skills to strengthen their understanding of groups and organisations.

Objectives and
Outcomes

  • Enhance self-awareness by identifying strengths & areas of improvement
  • Sensitisation to interpersonal and group dynamics, reflecting, assessing and appreciating individual and team skills
  • Initiate a personal development process that enables participants to discover and harness their potential.
