Rajendra Jog is the Country Director of Syngenta Foundation India, where he focuses on scaling up the agri-entrepreneur programme across various states, helping millions of smallholder farmers significantly increase their income while creating sustainable livelihoods for tens of thousands of unemployed rural youth. With over three decades of experience in the agriculture sector, Rajendra brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. Prior to his current roles, he served as the CEO of the Agri-Entrepreneur Growth Foundation from 2019 to 2022 and held key leadership positions at Syngenta and its legacy companies, including Head of Engineering and Projects APAC, Head of Supply Chain South Asia, and Head of Toll Manufacturing Asia-Pacific.
Rajendra is deeply committed to driving sustainable growth in the agriculture sector. He was instrumental in setting up the Agri Entrepreneur Growth Foundation India office and the AE training facility in Pune. From 2018 to 2022, he served as the part-time CEO of the Indo-Swiss Centre of Excellence, furthering innovation in agricultural training and development.
As a mentor, Rajendra offers startups strategic guidance and hands-on support in navigating the complexities of agricultural entrepreneurship. His expertise in supply chain management enables him to assist startups in optimising operations and structuring sustainable business models.
