Through detailed research and extensive fieldwork, this project concluded that intricate power dynamics exist between the various actors involved in the water and sanitation supply chain. It highlighted challenges related to dependence on external sources of water, potential conflicts over water resources, and inadequate sustainability measures. This project, which analysed community participation in rural water interventions, could significantly influence policy making by advocating for more inclusive approaches.
