Abhyudaya, SPJIMR's award-winning community-based initiative, provides mentoring and holistic after-school education to bright, underserved children (Sitaras = Stars), from low-income neighbourhoods in Mumbai's K-West ward. The programme supports children in becoming independent while strengthening the schools and communities around them, and aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Quality Education) and 17 (Partnership for the Goals).
