The speakers delved into various dimensions of resilience, emphasising its significance in maintaining the legacy and fostering trans-generational entrepreneurship within family firms.

Prof. Serrano delved into the concept of socio-emotional wealth and its profound impact on the resilience of family businesses. Mr. Prasad Kumar, also the founder of Human Endeavour Associates, shared practical insights from his extensive experience in strategic advisory for family enterprises. The discussion highlighted how overlaps among family business and ownership subsystems can create volatility and affect organisational resilience. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where both speakers provided valuable advice for future research and practical strategies to enhance resilience in family firms.
