Sudeepto Deb is a Partner – Sustainability and Business Advisory at Sattva Consulting. With over 30 years of experience in the Indian capital markets, Sudeepto brings a wealth of knowledge spanning listed and unlisted equities, structured products, and impact investments. At Sattva, he leads the fund advisory and ESG practice areas, working closely with teams in both the corporate and funds business units to shape their ESG and impact strategies.
He is also the driving force behind a soon-to-be-launched impact debt fund that is uniquely positioned to unlock domestic capital growth stage companies where the impact will be measured and third-party audited — a true first in the space.
Before joining Sattva, Sudeepto spent over nine years with Amundi Asset Management in Hong Kong and two years at Enam Asset Management, managing over $2 billion of Indian investments on behalf of large global investors. He also served as Executive Director and Head of Equities at Avendus Wealth Management. Prior to that, he spent over 12 years with leading investment banking firms such as Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and Kotak Equities, holding leadership roles including heading Equity Sales.
As a mentor, Sudeepto offers strategic guidance and practical support to entrepreneurs and business leaders in the areas of ESG and sustainability. His focus is on working across capital markets, corporates, and the social sector to drive impact and sustainable investing in both private and public markets. Leveraging his extensive experience, Sudeepto aims to develop investment philosophies and work towards better outcomes for his mentees.
