SPJIMR’s student exchange programme or INTEX enables students to experience a semester abroad with our partner schools across Europe and Asia. This programme lasts 8 to 10 weeks, from January to March/April. INTEX students often study alongside peers from multiple countries and work on projects within diverse academic groups. Additionally, we host students from partner schools worldwide who join our PGDM and PGDM(BM) students. For incoming exchange students, we have a buddy system, in which SPJIMR students support incoming exchange students to become familiar with the campus and help them settle in.
Exchange programmes often offer courses not available at the home institution, exposing students to various teaching styles, topics and perspectives, thereby broadening their academic horizons.
These programmes connect students, professors and professionals globally, fostering lifelong friendships, collaborations and career opportunities.
Students immerse themselves in new cultures, gaining personal experience with different customs, traditions and ways of life. This promotes cultural awareness, tolerance and appreciation.
Exchange programmes can be transformative, fostering personal growth, self-discovery and a sense of fulfilment. Students return with greater confidence, independence and a broader worldview.
Regular immersion in a foreign language accelerates learning. Students practice their language skills in real-life situations, improving fluency and confidence.
Interacting with people from different cultures enhances students’ empathy, active listening and ability to navigate cultural nuances.
We collaborate with leading international B-schools to consistently strengthen our partner school network and add new partners. Our current partner schools include:
