  • "A pleasure to attend PMP prep programme @SPJIMR. Well thought out, designed & planned program. Highly experienced professors and faculty. The Programme is truly designed for working professionals. Many practical examples, case studies, quiz and hands-on activities. All staff are very professional. This programme has given me new directions to think on how to execute project management activities more effectively and efficiently. Normally, as project managers, we plan and execute projects but often we face problems related to budget overshoot, delayed timeline, scope creep. But, after participating in the PMP prep programme @SPJIMR, I learnt many methods/tools/techniques by which we can have control over budget, time & scope. I am confident now to clear PMP in the 2 months time-frame after having good insight and exposure on all project management processes."

"Special thanks to all professors @SPJIMR to have this program very well designed & executed."

  • Pursuing the PGC-APM course at S.P.Jain. Mumbai has been an extremely rewarding and intellectually satisfying experience for me. The course material provided, case studies and classroom interactions certainly helped in adding to my management knowledge. The curriculum is an interesting mix of classroom studies and discussions, assignments and the dissertation that ensured the continuity of learning throughout the six month period even when I was out of classroom.
In addition to the teaching methodology, the ‘beyond the classroom’ interaction with the faculties and batch-mates from different domains was the key take-away for me from the course that helped me understand the application of management in sectors other than my own. Finally, if not for the flexibility of the entire course wherein the classes were held at weekends and the fact that I was graciously allowed by the institute to take the final examination and viva online, it would not have been possible for me to successfully juggle between the job at Delhi and the course at Mumbai. All in all, it has been a thoroughly challenging yet engaging experience and I am happy I made the decision to pursue this course at this stage of my career.

  • An intensive course which was run by a very competent team of excellent professors who made an incredibly dry topic easier to learn. Lots of real life experience were shared in the classroom which enabled the class of students to gel and work well together. The simulation exercises were great. Interaction with faculty and receiving their inputs was very enlightening. You could feel that all the Professors had put in their best in creating a didactic atmosphere that was both relaxing and academically strong. Success in obtaining the certification was just a natural outcome. I would be saying the same even if I had not obtained my PGC-APM certification

  • The program was well prepared and ensured that we learned the material, not just memorized it. The class was structured in such a way that I was able to concentrate throughout the sessions. The way professors have explained the real life project management situations & showcased the actual Project management tools was phenomenal. Overall the course filtered out the most important information from the PMBOK, which helped me to better understand project management, and improved my ability to study for the PMP Exam. The course was well organized and structured towards achieving PMP certification & helped me to increase my confidence level to pass this exam in first attempt. Finally on the D-day, I just walked out of Prometric with my shiny new PMP designation. Thanks SPJIMR once again J !!
