Overview
A Strong Focus on Values
The selection process assesses not only the intellectual readiness in terms of academics but also emotional readiness, work experience, extra-curricular activities and aptitude for and befitting the Institute’s mission of value-based leadership.
A Differentiated Approach
The programme offers four specialisations – Finance, Information Management, Marketing, Operations. The students are required to choose their specialisation at the application stage itself.
A choice at this stage helps
• Achieve segmentation at the time of admission based on differentiated need of the recruiting organisations
• Applicants develop a clear and sharp focus early on in the programme
• Broaden the spectrum of recruiters as students graduate
• Foster better bonding with peers resulting in productive collaborations especially with participants opting for different areas of specialisation
The programme can admit a total of 240 students. Additionally, 36 seats are available for PIOs, OCIs and foreign nationals.
The best thing about SPJIMR is the variety of experiences one gets to witness in a short span of two years - right from interning with an NGO in a village in India to the 3 weeks classroom stint in a university in USA, from rigorous classroom activities through case studies and assignments to a wide range of extra-curricular activities like working for a committee, organising festivals, sports, etc. The peer group is small and diversified, giving you an immense opportunity to learn from each other and build a strong close knit fraternity
