Industry Interface

At SPJIMR, Industry integration has a very special connotation. It is to be integrated continuously with the flow of academic activities from admissions, broad design and architecture, course curriculum, delivery, project work to evaluation throughout the year and every year. SPJIMR believes in Quasi partnership with industry where their involvement and participation is ensured at all levels. The integration process is conceptualized at three levels: course, programme and at the institute level.

> Course level

It includes
  • Inter alia, guest lectures, workshops and seminars – all theme based as an integrated part of a course, bringing industry to a classroom.
  • Factory visits, study tours, application exercises with mini projects – all taking classrooms to the industry.

> Programme level

> Institute level

  • It includes CEO lecture series, in-company and open MDPs, sponsored research and consultancy, academic awards and industry sponsored centres of excellence.
  • For the last two years, SPJIMR has introduced a new concept of Academic Conclave, an annual industry integration initiative, with a view to focusing on best contemporary industry practices. This is a forum which brings together industry experts, industry CEOs and their deputies, academicians together in January month of every year for exchange of ideas, practices and experiences on major themes of interest.
