PGPM at SPJIMR hosted Mr. Harun Rashid Khan, retired as the senior most Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, for a session on Macroeconomics and Financial Markets. 
The timing of the session could not have been more apt as the MPC report had just been released.
Mr. Khan highlighted the evolution of Indian financial markets especially the bond market.
He also shared his insights on the MPC report, linking it with macroeconomic concepts of growth, inflation and CAD.

He touched upon the way financial markets will be affected by the MPC report and the current rally in the Indian bond markets.

He also discussed the strengths of the Indian financial markets and opportunities that lie ahead in terms of economic activity and momentum, highlighting that financial market volatility and potential trade wars were a threat to emerging and developed economies.
